Terms and conditions

Hotel de Gaaper uses the general terms and conditions of Koninklijke Horeca Nederland (KHN)
The Uniform Hospitality Conditions (UVH) are the conditions under which catering companies established in the Netherlands, such as hotels, restaurants, cafés and related companies (including catering companies, party service companies, etc.), provide catering services and conclude catering agreements. The UVH have been filed with the District Court and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in The Hague.

Notwithstanding Article 9.2.1. of the Uniform Conditions for the Horeca (UVH) we apply less stringent conditions for individuals:

In the event of cancellation or no-show, we will charge the following costs to the customer:

  • Within 24 hours before check-in date 100% of the room costs
  • No charge for more than 24 hours

When booking more than 3 rooms; groups in accordance with art 9.2.2. of the Uniform Conditions for the Horeca, we use the Uniform Conditions for the Horeca:

In the event of cancellation or no-show, we will charge the following costs:

  • No costs longer than 14 days before arrival
  • Between 7 and 14 days before arrival 35% of the room cost
  • Between 3 and 7 days before arrival 60% of the room costs
  • Between 24 and 3 days before arrival 85% of the room cost
  • Within 24 hours before arrival 100% of the room costs
